# Key Words with Peter and Jane

Ladybird's graded reading scheme, built on the finding that a small set of frequently used words makes up most of everyday English. Each level has three books: the "a" book introduces new key words, the "b" book practises them in new stories, and the "c" book adds phonics and writing. Wau Books carries levels 1 and 2, the starting point for children of about four to six who know their letters and are ready for first whole sentences.
